Architect, interior architect and designer, Aude Soulain is based in Nantes and works around France and Europe.

Ever since she started in 2008, she has conceived numerous projects in architecture, while continuing research on furniture and objects.

Simple shapes put together with infinite care epitomize her aesthetic language. Her work explores with elegance and sensibility the essence of materials.

Whatever the scale of a project, her approach targets truth and emotion. Aude is specialised in woodwork, each piece is unique because it is shaped by hand in a French workshop. It is first turned to give it its shape then brushed to reveal the grain of the wood. Once the texturing has been carried out, the part is stained with natural varnish.
